Magnus lets himself flop backward onto a pile of clothes that may or may not cover Shen Yuan's bed. Turns out he's actually a little overwhelmed in this dress? Not in a bad/too overstimulated way, or even in a sad/missing Alex way. It's kind of fun, he thinks. He can get painted in it and if Alex ever sees the painting, somehow, they can laugh about it together. He wonders what the skirt would feel like if he wasn't wearing jeans.

"I don't know what those flowers are!" he admits. "Are cactus flowers spiky?"
